As a squadron we also engage in many STEM activities, STEM standing for Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. Our team recently competed in the Cyber Centurion competition, where they had their computer abilities tested to the limit. A team from the squadron has also made it into the finals of the RAF 100 Years engineering competition, and as such has been give 3 thousand pounds to develop their proposal. On top of this, you can study academic subjects through the classification system, involving everything from how a jet engine works to meteorology.
